What's here, and what I do with it.

Read this in five minutes or send it to someone who asked what you've been using. It's the same page whether you signed up today or two years ago — it just gets longer as the place does.

MONEYMoneyImport a statement, categorise once, and the briefing writes itself when there’s enough behind it.
JOURNALJournalWrite badly, dictate if it’s easier. The formatter tidies it; nothing is graded.
TO-DOTo-DoLists and due dates. Dewey can add to these, and tells you when he has.
NOTESNotesA pinnable board with tags, for the things that aren’t tasks and aren’t feelings.
GOALSGoalsA why, milestones, dated check-ins. Going quiet is information too.
LATERWhatever lands nextNew areas arrive on the same rail and appear in this list the day they do.

Dewey

He reads across all five areas at once — that's the whole premise, and nothing else you can install does it. Ask him why a month felt hard and he can point at what you wrote in May and what you spent in July in the same answer.

He can add a to-do or a note, and he says so when he does. Every answer lists exactly what it opened.

WHAT I WON'T DOI don't touch your money data.

I can read every transaction, budget and balance, and I'll argue with you about all of them. I cannot change one. I can add a to-do or a note, and I'll say so when I do. Anything that moves a number, you move.

The interview

Five questions, about two minutes, the first time you arrive. It decides what your home screen leads with and how Dewey talks to you — nothing about money unless money is why you came.

You can skip it and nothing is withheld; every area works exactly as it would have. It moves into the account menu as "Tell Dewey about you", and he mentions it once, later, when he has an actual reason to want the answers.

Getting things out again

Everything you write stays yours and stays exportable. Nobody else ever sees a word of it: not another person, not an advertiser, not a feed.
